1977 Tiga Formula Ford 1600

Fully restored car with full Swedish history since 1978

Chassis:
#7735. Chassis restored from bare shot blasted frame, painted and panneled with anodized hard heat-treated alloy panels riveted and glued as per regulations. All wishbones and stays are new, with VGC or new rod ends. Shock absorbers are 10 races old adjustable AVO. New weller 5,5"x13 steel wheels. Chassis has aluminium billet rear top chassis x-section and steel lower subframe section.

Body:
New paintwork with new sidepods to orignal specifications.

Brakes:
Fully restored with replated caliper with all new seals and all new Goodridge fittings and braided hoses.

Electrical:
New Smiths instrumentation with mechanical temp and pressure gauges with an electronic revcounter, new AMP switches and all new cable harness and master switches.

Gearbox:
Hewland MK9 10races since overhaul. VGC with no repairs or welds to housings. New gearlinkage.

Engine:
1600cc "Kent" Scholar engine, 1h since examination, 10 races since rebuild, fully legal dynoed to 103BHP @ 6300RPM. New oil tank and catch tank. Original 4-1 exhaust manifold with "big" FF silencer

Sundry:
New service on AFFF extinguiser. 16Ah Battery, All hardweare new or replated. Original alloy fueltank. Motolita detachable steeringwheel. Moulded seat will fit someone just like me. Original seat available. One 1h test session since rebuild to make sure that everything works.

2000 Aquired by present owner and overhauled for "new life"
2000 4th in swedish Historic series
