Mini Marcos  1969 1293cc

The winter of 1990-91 I restored this  Mini Marcos which I and Daniel & Magnus Magnusson collected in UK in 1990.
Remember that this was before internet so the car was bought virtually unseen, just making sure that it was registred as a Mini Marcos and not a Kit car. Not much more that the body, doors, door frames and rear screen was used from the car that I bought. The car was firs used as a combined road and race car. First season was in Roadsport B and later with the 1293cc engine in Roadsport C. As a road car I got as far as Germany and Holland for the International Mini Meeting.

This is how the car looked when i bought it.
