Las Vegas is a crazy town and I almost got arrested!
Well they let me go with a warning....
Classic hotel view
This was really the only thing Theo wanted to se in the US, we had to settle for a replica.
The Bellagio fountains.
On one of the days in Vegas we took a flight over Grand Canyon, I guess it's the only way to really understand how big it is!
Off to Death Valley, and yes we actually saw one cyclist on this stretch of road......
Badwater Basin
After Death Valley we headed north to Tonopah through old mine cities.
The Mizpah Hotel in Tonopah was in a time warp condition, a really cool place.
I guess it's been a while since it was last used.............
On our way to Bodie state park we stopped by Mono Lake
Bodie was one of the trip higlights, again thanks to Apexspeed!
The old saloon
I guess it needs more than setting off the tappets,......
We finally got some use out of Theo!
We stayed in Mammoth Lakes for two nights, a real sports nest.
Start early.....
And you will eventually be able to this. US National Downihill championships visited Mammoth Lakes that weekend.

On our way south we stopped by Laguna Seca / Mazda Raceway. Unfortunally we did not have time to watch the FF race.
We were supposed to meet up with Dan Wise but he had to go home overnight and we had to leave before he arrived.
Fancy shocks and wishbones.
Porsche race was good fun to watch.
Very different level of transportation and accomodation, same as in Sweden.
Shiny!
Pebble Beach and 17-mile drive was nice!
We drove along the coastal Hwy 1. There was a lot of fog all day so we did not see that much of what must be great views.
We need a "State Vehicular Recreation Area" in Sweden!
All the toys you need!
Solvang, CA
Santa Monica beach
We eventually ended up in Los Angeles
This guy did pushups this way....

Refreshing!
At the 101 cafe in Oceanside we met up with Bob Hatle that showed us around his workshop. A really nice guy who we must thank for his time and hospitallity.
After 6 nights in LA we continued down to San Diego
You don't have to do the rides to get wet!
Big fish!
Good ball control.
Next day we spent some time at USS Midway
We spent the last day in San Diego at the Coronado beach
